Christmas Money Spent

I got some lovely things for Christmas.

Scott and I don't buy presents for each other. I did get a couple of things for him this year. And while shopping I bought a couple things for myself. Nothing exciting. Just some new clothes.

I received some of Miss Mustard Seed's Milk Paints to try out. She is one of my favorite bloggers. I'm so excited to find a project for the milk paint.

And here is something that I have been keeping my eye on for awhile. Something I have been daydreaming about.

I used my Christmas money to buy this from World Market-

World Market Everett Foyer Table

When I first found this table in the store a while back it was on sale. Then I received an email that had a coupon for another percentage off. There was a two day window to buy this table for a lot less and I missed it. I was so bummed and have been watching and waiting ever since.

Well, my second chance came the day after Christmas. I checked online and all furniture was on sale.  This table was at $239.99 from $299.99. I also received an email with a 15% off coupon for one day only. My hubby works not far from the nearest World Market. I texted him a picture of the table and forwarded my email coupon with a pretty please request.

He came home with my table! And it fits perfectly.

I've been having fun trying to style it since then. I smile every time I walk by it.

Not pretty but functional.

Then I put my Christmas decorations away and decided to try a little harder.

It even has drawers.

I got a basket from the garage that the boys found in our shed/barn and stuck some things in it. The blue bucket is a photography prop.

It's still a work in progress.

I even put up a wintry poem.

I still need something added to my chalkboard. Not sure what, yet.

Thanks for looking!
