Hammer Time

I have finally hammered some nails in our freshly painted walls.

It's about time, right?

I still have a lot more to do, but I was feeling productive lately. It feels good to get things done.

One thing that is driving me Caah-Razy - I can't find the hardware for our curtain rods. I have some curtains to hang in our front living room and my bedroom, but I can't. I still have some boxes to check but I'm not sure where they could be. I certainly don't remember where we packed them over a year ago.

Here are some things I got done.

Jewelry holders are hung in my bedroom.

 (It needs to be organized)
Things in this picture that need to be done- Curtains hung(or might just leave them piled on my dresser), dresser bottom painted, dresser top stained, handles put on dresser drawers. So much to do.

One thing I also got done.

 I hung our closet doors back up! All by myself (Scott helped my with one that was giving me trouble)!
They have been in our garage since January. I had planned to paint them first. They are going to be black like the doors. I decided I will just paint them in place. I have to be a little more careful but it's so nice to have more space in the garage.

 I also hung our big clock in the front living room.

 It's far from complete but looking much better.

These windows are where we desperately need curtains hung. We have everything except the blasted curtain rod hardware !

 (If you notice, outside I also hung our hammock chair and the boys have been loving it)

If you wonder what I'll be doing the next couple of days, you can bet I'll be buried in boxes in my garage or basement. I'm on a mission!
